Dr. Patrick Ruck grew up in a Navy family that was originally from Northeast Ohio in Youngstown. He spent most of his childhood in Virginia and graduated magna cum laude from Virginia Commonwealth University. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University where he was part of the Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He was a National Health Service Corps Scholar and dedicated four years of his career to treating underserved communities.

Patrick completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. There he received advanced training in treating children, adolescents, teens and those with special health care needs. This included specialized training in sedation, operating room dentistry, dental trauma, behavior management, and operative techniques for these patient populations. Wanting to see more of America he practiced in Northeast Arizona and then Western North Carolina.

He then returned to Cincinnati to work at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center as a Pediatric Dental Attending. Dr. Ruck is an active member in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and local pediatric dentistry study group. He is a Key Opinion Leader for NuSmile, a pediatric dental company that focuses on esthetic and restorative solutions for pediatric dentists. Dr. Ruck loves Cincinnati and its communities. He enjoys zoo visits and spending time with his wife Magdalena, two children Carolina and Winston, and his two French bulldogs Waffles and Maple Syrup.
